Pigment Types
Merck offers a wide spectrum of various effect pigments for the plastics industry. They are divided into decorative and functional pigments. Lazerflair® and Solarflair® are the brand names of our functional pigments. For decorative applications we offer Iriodin®, Colorstream®, Xirallic®, Biflair® und Miraval®. They all have one thing in common: brilliant color effects, a lasting high quality and unusual added properties that allow very easy processing of the effect pigments. The decorative effect pigments are suitable for use in thermoplastics, casting resins and latex products.
